Service Description
Our 3 day Interior Design Course is an ideal course showing you how to design and present rooms and spaces. Great if you have one room of a few rooms to plan and design, maybe you have just moved and the whole house needs a revamp and you need to keep an eye on those purse strings! Planning and designing your spaces will help you formulate your overall look and design, curtail impulse buying and keep you on track with timescale and budget. We'll show you how! Throughout the 3 days you will learn: principles of interior design taking a brief colour - what it means and how it makes you feel draw and plan a room to scale Learn all about furniture sizes and scale and proportion tips and ideas to work with what you have how to choose colour how to put a scheme together how to create a mood board using Canva or manually cost your scheme You'll take away loads of ideas and inspiration on where to start and how to create your ideal space. No experience is needed as this is a beginner course and open to all. This course is for you if you have a project to tackle and don't know where to start, you want to design and furnish it yourself. Take away whatever you have produced in the 3 days, along with your certificate of completion and also your complimentary design kit, which has all the items you need to do the course. If you are not great with computers, you can chose to do your moodboard manually and without a computer. All drawings are by hand and we will show you how to draw to scale so you can be confident your plan will work in real life. Interior Design is a process anyone can learn. Cancellation Policy
Please read the following conditions in full Booking: All workshops, courses and lessons need to be booked and paid for before commencement. Online lessons cannot be cancelled. Confirmation: To confirm your booking, payment must be received and cleared prior to any booked course or workshop. We will then send confirmation and enrollment details for the chosen course and venue. Payment: You agree to pay the fees for courses that you purchase, and you authorise us to charge your debit or credit card or process other means of payment. Payment can be made via credit or debit card by clicking the ’buy now' button on the appropriate page via the website, www.studiospeck.co.uk To qualify for group discounts, bookings must be made at the same time. Companies can be invoiced but payments must be made prior to commencement. We reserve the right to prevent/disable access to any course for which we have not received adequate payment. Cancellation & Refunds: Any cancellation of course attendance must be made in writing 4 weeks prior to course start date, otherwise a 50% cancellation fee will apply. Cancellations within 4 weeks will not be refunded. It is your responsibility to arrive promptly. We may be able to transfer your booking to another date or venue, this is discretionary. Should we have to cancel your booking you will be offered the choice of either another date or venue or a full refund or refund credit of the course/workshop cost. We cannot be held liable for any travel arrangements preventing your attendance. We reserve the right to apply any refund as a refund credit or a refund to your original payment method, at our discretion. If we decide to issue refund credits to your account, they can be applied towards your next course purchase on our website. Refund credits may expire if not used within the specified period and have no cash value. Please note: Online courses and workshops are non-refundable. One-to-one bookings are specific to you and therefore, non-refundable. Health & Safety: We reserve the right to eject any person displaying threatening behaviour to the tutor, or any other person on the course. Lateness: In-person courses and workshops begin at various times, it’s your responsibility to check which course you are on and should you arrive late, courses will begin without you as others may be affected. Course Content: When you buy a course from us, you will not own the course content. All courses are owned by Studio Speck.
