CAD & SketchUp Courses

CAD is essential for architects and interior designers who want to work in the industry. This essential tool and skill will help you communicate your designs professionally and collaborate with others in the industry. Learn with us in person at our lovely studio in Cardiff, UK or online from anywhere in the world.

Our 3-day AutoCAD or SketchUp courses are designed for anyone looking to learn CAD and SketchUp to enhance their employability, whether as a designer, architect, developer, or anyone who needs to learn CAD. Autocad is still the most widely used CAD package on the planet and you'll see you need this skill to work as an interior designer almost everywhere. Not being able to use CAD or SketchUp is a barrier to employment but it's not something to be afraid of. It's like any other software package when you don't know what it does or where everything is. CAD and SketchUp is to designers what a calculator is to an accountant. It's a tool to help us design.

CAD can look complicated when you are new to it but it's just like other software packages. You need at least 3 days as a newbie to CAD. Let's make your CAD journey as painless as possible. Learn from interior designers, who use it every day.

Using CAD or SketchUp can help you work on larger projects, collaborate with other industry professionals and speed up your drawing process once you know how to use it. We also have our new, supported, online SketchUp course, so location is no barrier to learn with us.

TESTIMONIALS

"I'd like to say a very big thank you for everything you taught Emily last week in her total interior design workshop. Every evening when we spoke with her, she had a huge grin on her face and was excited about what she had learnt and the designs she came up with.

It has confirmed that a career in interior design is definitely the direction she would like to follow.  You have really inspired her, thank you."
