Tailored for aspiring designers, self builders, students, property developers and anyone with a desire to learn how to communicate your designs effectively, this interactive experience guides you through the essentials of 2D layouts & 3D modelling, helping you bring your visions to life. Join us and transform your creative ideas into stunning, professional presentations that will impress clients and enhance your interior design projects! As you can work in both metric and imperial units, it does not matter where you are in the world to benefit from this course. There will be homework, based on each session's content so you can get confident in the shortest time possible. Sessions WILL BE RECORDED so you can look back at any time. 🧠What You’ll Learn (6-Week Breakdown) 🔹 Week 1 – Getting Started with SketchUp • Navigate the interface confidently • Learn essential tools, shortcuts, and setup preferences • Understand camera views, axes, and model organisation 🔹 Week 2 – Drawing & Modelling Fundamentals • Create accurate 2D plans and 3D walls • Use the Tape Measure, Push/Pull, and Move tools effectively • Develop your first room layout 🔹 Week 3 – Building Realistic Interiors • Learn about the Warehouse • Tips and tricks to create realistic 3D plans • The importance of Scale and Proportion! 🔹 Week 4 – Textures, Materials & Styling • Apply realistic materials, wood grains, and finishes • Adjust colours and textures for mood and depth • Adding your own materials plus tips and tricks. 🔹 Week 5 – Presentation & Exporting Visuals • Set up camera angles for realistic scenes • Create professional presentation images • Export plans, elevations, and perspective views 🔹 Week 6 – An introduction to animations • Creating Scenes • Simple Animations • Tips and Tricks By the end of the course, you will have a good foundation of 3D visualisation and with our extensive knowledge of interior design, 2D planning, 3D visuals and presentation, you'll be jumpstarting your journey into GREAT design communication and presentations for your clients, investors and contractors. Cancellation Policy
Please read the following conditions in full Booking: All workshops, courses and lessons need to be booked and paid for before commencement. Online lessons cannot be cancelled. Confirmation: To confirm your booking, payment must be received and cleared prior to any booked course or workshop. We will then send confirmation and enrollment details for the chosen course and venue. Payment: You agree to pay the fees for courses that you purchase, and you authorise us to charge your debit or credit card or process other means of payment. Payment can be made via credit or debit card by clicking the ’buy now' button on the appropriate page via the website, www.studiospeck.co.uk To qualify for group discounts, bookings must be made at the same time. Companies can be invoiced but payments must be made prior to commencement. We reserve the right to prevent/disable access to any course for which we have not received adequate payment. Cancellation & Refunds: Any cancellation of course attendance must be made in writing 4 weeks prior to course start date, otherwise a 50% cancellation fee will apply. Cancellations within 4 weeks will not be refunded. It is your responsibility to arrive promptly. We may be able to transfer your booking to another date or venue, this is discretionary. Should we have to cancel your booking you will be offered the choice of either another date or venue or a full refund or refund credit of the course/workshop cost. We cannot be held liable for any travel arrangements preventing your attendance. We reserve the right to apply any refund as a refund credit or a refund to your original payment method, at our discretion. If we decide to issue refund credits to your account, they can be applied towards your next course purchase on our website. Refund credits may expire if not used within the specified period and have no cash value. Please note: Online courses and workshops are non-refundable. One-to-one bookings are specific to you and therefore, non-refundable. Health & Safety: We reserve the right to eject any person displaying threatening behaviour to the tutor, or any other person on the course. Lateness: In-person courses and workshops begin at various times, it’s your responsibility to check which course you are on and should you arrive late, courses will begin without you as others may be affected. Course Content: When you buy a course from us, you will not own the course content. All courses are owned by Studio Speck.
