ONE FOCUSED REVIEW
WHY REVIEW IT NOW?

A small review now can prevent an expensive compromise later.

A plan can look perfectly reasonable on paper and still create awkward circulation, undersized furniture zones, wasted corners, poor storage - or a room that simply doesn’t support everyday life.

Builders build what is shown. This service gives you the chance to pause, test the thinking and improve your plan before committing time and money on site.

Architects are great at designing buildings but often overlook how they can be used by people and situations. This is where designers come in, to bridge the gap.

                  Keep ownership of your ideas.

Add the reassurance of a professional, unbiased eye.

IS THIS FOR YOU?

Expert input, without commissioning a full design service.

01

You’ve drawn your own plan

You want an expert sense-check before you progress.

02

Your builder has sketched a layout

You’d value an independent design perspective.

03

You’re renovating or extending

You want the new space to flow and function beautifully.

04

You don’t need full design

You do want professional, experienced eyes on the decisions that matter.

THE PROFESSIONAL REVIEW

I look beyond the lines on the page.

Your review considers how the proposed space will actually feel, flow and support the way you live or work.

01

Brief and priorities

Does the proposal solve the problems you identified?

03

Furniture fit

Realistic furniture sizes, clearances and opening zones. I've seen many architectural plans with 'CAD' blocks that do not represent realistic furniture sizes.

05

Light, outlook and privacy

Relationships between rooms, windows and daily life.

02

Flow and circulation

Clear routes, sensible zoning and practical movement.

04

Storage and wasted space

Opportunities to make every useful area work harder.

Some kitchen sales designers know nothing about scale and proportion.

06

Points to verify

Questions for Building Control or an appropriate specialist.
